Since 1996, City Singers Youth Choirs of Richmond, VA have been performing the highest caliber of distinguished youth choral music from the body of classical, traditional, and modern compositions from around the world.
CSYC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This means we are supported by individual community members, businesses, & charitable funds with tax-deductible financial gifts which keep our tuition low. In fact, our singers pay approximately 1/3 the cost of of choir membership, and we have tuition assistance available to those who require it.
Our mission is to inspire the highest level of artistic choral performance while bringing together youth of the greater Richmond area in a joyful appreciation of their ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity. We are committed to making our choral education experience available to qualified singers regardless of their economic situations.
City Singers Youth Choirsis for kids who love to sing from all over Richmond, Virginia and surrounding counties. Weekly choirs meet during the school year (Tuesdays 6-7:15/30) and serve K through 12th graders. Voice Placements for new and returning singers are held in June, September and November.
