Welcome to our 2024-25 season! El Regalo de mi Abuela (Grandma’s Gift) by Eric Velasquez tells the delightful, true story of a child’s invitation into the powerful world of art through the love of his grandmother and the masterpiece portrait Juan de Pareja by 16th century Spanish painter Diego Velasquez.

Cada semestre elegimos un tema para mejorar la experiencia musical de nuestros cantantes y audiencia, y este semestre se inspiró en la historia que escucharán hoy: exploramos la música latino-hispana de las Américas, una vasta e increíblemente diversa área de música que abarca siglos y continentes.

Every semester we choose a theme to enhance the musical experience of our singers and audience, and this semester was inspired by the story you’ll hear today: we explore Latin-Hispanic music from the Americas,  a vast and incredibly diverse area of music spanning centuries and continents.
